Wow that is so creepyYes I’m A Woman Yes I Drive A Subaru No You Can’t Drive It shirt. Did your mom never elaborate? In all the stuff she kept are there any clues at all? Good luck to you and your fiance. I initially thought that but if that were the case, I wonder why his mother gave him invites to hand out for his 8th birthday. Confusing. I would burn those junks to the ground in the hopes it might destroy whatever lurks there. I am surely hoping your fiance can deal with the responsibility. It sounds so very overwhelming! I am not certain if you could find many more about this if you research the history of this area? I will say this, if your family could make a trip to the Grand Canyon on a long weekend, well your family home is somewhere near where I live. Would love to know the history of your land.

I am now wondering if the reason it seemed like your mom was a junk keeper and not her ancestors so much is because the land was sold off and the nothingness was compacted to just your plot? If you ever investigate and find more, please share! Best of luck! Hope the coffee clutch assholes find something else to mock, and tormentYes I’m A Woman Yes I Drive A Subaru No You Can’t Drive It shirt. Have you thought about putting a salt circle around “The Junks”? Or maybe planting a circling border of sage plants around “The Junks”? Idk if it eould help at all (or if anything could grow or survive that close to something so hungry and evil) but it might be worth a shot. Also, keep supporting your fiancee. And good on you for being aware of this evil and standing by your fiancee. Bravo, Brava, Bravicimo (sp?) I was wondering about that. At first ,I assumed OP was a woman, but then when I found out he was a dude, I assume it was a typo. Then when all that stuff about women and men was revealed at the end, I assumed OP was bi and that by getting engaged to a man, it was foreshadowing that there’d be no women to protect everyone from the emptiness. Now I’m just sort of confused. People have downvoted you for ‘nitpicking’ but I think given the context of the story, getting fiance/fiancee correct is kinda important. I had to stop reading, this story is a mess of crossed out, bolded, and italicized words. Less is more when it comes to writing, try to condense things down if you can. Another amazing journal. I am glad that you did it from Veshengo’s perspective, it really ties down his thought processes. It is pretty cool to see his side of things and how he thinks of himself.
