I bought one last Saturday. I have the next two days off to grt it in Preserving America’s Heritage one junk yard at a time Shirt and see how it does on a long ride. So much hate being spewed over this bike. But the new bags are lockable, it rides smoother, corners better, has more power, than before. It’s a really wonderful machine. Most of my add on parts haven’t come in yet, some were on back order. But this is really a nice machine, and all the haters can go take a flying leap. Just move your old bikes over so I can pass.

I love this bike but wondering if it’s too big for me. Out if interest what added extras have you ordered for Preserving America’s Heritage one junk yard at a time Shirt? I love your choice of colour. Wendy Griffiths it feels very very light, it handles very easy. I’ve ordered a sissy bar luggage rack 16″ handlebars and mustache bat highway pegs handle bar speakers, and a few other goodies.
Can you post an update regarding your thoughts after a long ride – how long are you thinking of? tia. The 107. The dealer didn’t want to deal with Preserving America’s Heritage one junk yard at a time Shirt, they wanted more than MSRP and wouldn’t budge, but they made me a deal for under MSRP on the 107. About $4,000 less than they wanted for the 114. I’m happy with it. It has plenty of power, rides very very smooth, and it’s very easy to control in traffic and at low speeds. It feels a little jappy, but overall it’d great.
I asked a salesman why they changed the Heritage, he said to target younger Preserving America’s Heritage one junk yard at a time Shirt. So I asked “wasn’t that what the Dynas were for? So they phased out a line of bikes targeted toward the younger crowd, changed a bike that was targeted toward the older or retro crowd, so now no one is happy”. If I were to buy a new Heritage today, it would be a 2017 hold over.
I think chrome beats black. Preserving America’s Heritage one junk yard at a time Shirt is up with the saddle bags? Should have left the Heritage alone, just put the new motor in it and I’d have one already. I went to the dealer to see it in person. I can honestly say that HD has ruined the Heritage Softail. I didn’t like it at all, they completely missed the ball on this one. From the color scheme’s to the smaller saddle bags, to the blacked out windshield, forks and motor. The only improvement was replacing the dual shocks under the frame, I’m told that the new shock system is much better, but I will have to test ride it although I don’t plan on buying the new Heritage because honestly it just doesn’t appeal to me.
